You simply have to have faith in this one.
Take the best minced (ground) beef you can buy and place it in a bowl. 500gm should do six good size burgers.
Then simply add:
- Lea Perrins Worcester sauce – a very good splash, don’t go soft at this point
- Salt
- Pepper
- Tomato Ketchup – at least a tablespoon of it.
No eggs, no flour…
Mush all this together in a bowl with clean hands; pat gently into burger shapes. Heat a griddle or a pan. Add a very small amount of olive oil and when searingly hot, put the burgers on. Turn just a couple of times.
That’s it. And they are simply delicious.
